Hi everyone 🙂
The past few days have felt like some of the busiest days of my life! I spent Thursday and Friday night rehearsing for Supermodels America’s fashion show, which took place on Saturday and Sunday at the Southern Ontario Military Mustle (SOMM) in Essex. The fashion show was themed to match the SOMM, so we wore vintage clothing, and curled our hair 40’s/50’s style. Before the first show on Saturday I took part in the SOMM parade as well!
After the parade was finished, I had my hair done; vintage-style. Then, I headed to Tilbury so I could take place in the Tilbury parade. It was great seeing all of the familiar faces.
Right afterward, I headed back to Essex had an absolute blast at the fashion show! Although things didn’t go as smoothly as planned at the end, I still think everybody did great!
Then, I went back to Tilbury (a lot of back and forth driving, I know. Mind you, the drive between Essex and Tilbury is 40 minutes) and set up a booth with Melanie (Canada’s Perfect Supermodel and previous titleholder of my title) at the Tilbury fair. At our booth, we painted people’s nails. All of the proceeds went to Free The Children and supporting me at Nationals! Then, I spent the rest of the night at the fair going on rides with my friends! Sunday morning rolled along and it was time to head back to Essex for the second show. It went a lot more smoothly than the first time, and everybody looked and did amazing.
I’ve had a blast working with Supermodels America and their models, and hope to do it again soon! Lastly, I headed back to Tilbury once again to have a shoot with a local photographer at the fair, photos to come soon! Now it’s time for some homework and sleep!
Until next time!
